Rum feels warm and slightly fruity rather than sharply alcoholic, while saffron gives it the leathery, almost medicinal tension that makes Side Effect so recognizable. Cinnamon arrives quickly and rounds the edges without burying the booze. The original is more polished. Side Effect has a softer transition into tobacco and vanilla, whereas Farah can develop a dry, rubbery saffron note on some skin.
