Le Beau Le Parfum is the richer, more concentrated interpretation of Jean Paul Gaultier’s tropical Le Beau concept. Released in 2022 and created by Quentin Bisch, it retains coconut as a central part of the fragrance while surrounding it with ripe fruit, warm woods, tonka bean, and amber for a noticeably sweeter and denser result than the original Le Beau Eau de Toilette. Pineapple, ginger, iris, and cypress give the opening a fruity-green brightness before coconut becomes increasingly prominent. Rather than smelling like a purely fresh tropical fragrance, Le Beau Le Parfum develops a creamy and woody character as tonka bean, sandalwood, amber, and ambergris take over. The coconut remains recognizable, but the later stages are warmer, sweeter, and heavier than the opening suggests. That richer construction gives Le Beau Le Parfum considerably stronger performance than the original Le Beau. Parfumo’s large user sample currently places both longevity and sillage around the 8/10 level, making it one of the more dependable performers in the Le Beau line. Its main limitation is versatility. Despite the tropical imagery, the combination of coconut, tonka, amber, and sweetness can become dense in very hot weather. Some wearers also describe the opening as noticeably synthetic. Evening wear, mild summer nights, and warmer spring or fall conditions generally suit the profile better than extreme heat. Overall, Le Beau Le Parfum succeeds by making the original concept fuller and longer lasting without abandoning its tropical identity. Its strong community reception and relatively competitive designer pricing also give it a better value proposition than many niche fragrances built around a similar sweet coconut profile.
