Editorial assessment

Euphoria does not smell delicate. The pomegranate hits dark and tart, then black orchid and lotus push it toward that glossy purple mood the bottle promises. On skin it reminds me of fruit syrup spilled across polished wood: sweet, slightly creamy, and much moodier than most designer florals from its era.
The drydown is the best part. Mahogany, amber, violet and the cream accord smooth out the sharper opening without turning it into dessert. It can feel synthetic up close, especially during the first half hour, but the trail is richer and more convincing.
People still praise the staying power, and that reputation is deserved. It hangs around for most of the day and works best in cool weather or at night. At full retail it feels expensive for an older designer release, but discounts are common. Under retail, Euphoria is still an easy recommendation for anyone who wants a dark fruity floral with real character.
