Voux Elegante makes its Naxos reference clear without needing much detective work. Lavender and citrus give the opening that familiar aromatic brightness, then honey and cinnamon begin filling the space underneath. The shape is right, although the sweetness feels more immediate and less finely controlled.
The biggest difference is texture. Naxos has a creamy, almost polished transition from honey into tobacco and vanilla. Voux Elegante feels grainier around the edges, with cashmeran and sweetness showing themselves more openly. Give it some time, though, and the drydown becomes noticeably more convincing.
Tobacco, vanilla and tonka carry most of the resemblance later in the wear. It does not have the effortless blending of the Xerjoff, but it understands the proportions that make Naxos work. For someone chasing that honeyed lavender and tobacco profile rather than every last bit of refinement, Voux Elegante makes a strong case.
