Hectic is built directly around the Louis Vuitton Imagination DNA. The opening pushes citron, bergamot and orange hard, with ginger adding that familiar sparkling bite. It can feel a little denser and sharper than the original during the first few minutes. The tea, neroli, ambroxan and incense combination is where it becomes convincing. On drydown it develops the clean, soapy citrus-tea character people chase in Imagination, although Hectic tends to feel heavier and slightly more ambroxan-forward. Community feedback on performance is mixed between batches, but the scent accuracy gets much more consistent praise. Some people rank it among the closest Imagination clones available, while others prefer smoother alternatives. For the price, the resemblance is extremely strong.
