Hersh 2 is a direct take on Louis Vuitton Imagination. The citrus opening is brighter and a little sharper, with lemon showing more clearly before the ginger and orange blossom start smoothing things out. The drydown is where it gets seriously close. Black tea, ambroxan, incense and guaiac wood create that clean, airy, slightly soapy trail that defines Imagination. The original still feels smoother and more layered, but the difference becomes much smaller after the opening settles. Performance has some batch-to-batch debate in the community, especially between older and newer bottle versions. Stronger batches have a reputation for excellent longevity and projection. As an Imagination clone, Hersh 2 is one of the more convincing options currently available.
