Island Dreams is clearly chasing Louis Vuitton Symphony. Grapefruit and ginger create the same sparkling citrus direction, but Khadlaj feels sharper and slightly soapier in the opening. Once the ambroxan and musk settle in, the resemblance gets much stronger. Symphony still feels smoother, airier and more polished, while Island Dreams has a thicker clean-musky texture. Performance gets generally positive feedback, although experiences vary between bottles. For the price, this is one of the more convincing Symphony alternatives, especially if the bright grapefruit side of the original is what you enjoy most.
